Study of bearing noise regarding accuracy of machining
Studýnka, Pavel ; Sabo, Karol (referee) ; Klapka, Milan (advisor)
This bachalor thesis deals with connection between the quality of surface of raceways of a bearing and vibrations in operation. This thesis describes basic geometrical parameters of a bearing that have main influence on its resulting quality and vibrations. It presents methods to evaluate the quality of the raceways surfaces and their connection between them. As a part of the thesis is an experiment, which should prove, what is the connection between the measuring of quality of the surface of raceways and measuring the vibrations of bearings during the process, by the way used in the company KOYO Olomouc. The quality of raceways is evaluated on a measuring device MUK-F 300 and vibrations on IL 100R/2000.
Functional surfaces and surface texture
Novák, Jiří ; Brandejs, Jan (referee) ; Svoboda, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor publication was an elaboration of professional recherche about geometric product specification (GPS). My publication contains the comparison of the foregone and current norms, which include parameters surface texture and notation surface texture, relation of surface texture and surface function, incoming development trends and needful supplements.
Design of apparatus for determination of directions of reinforcing fibres in soft biological tissues in their deformed state
Sodomka, Tomáš ; Vaverka, Jiří (referee) ; Burša, Jiří (advisor)
The Bachelor´s thesis is focused on the determination of directions of collagen fibres in elastic arteries. The first aim of this thesis is a general introduction into soft tissue mechanics with turning attention to connective tissue where collagen fibres are their inseparable part. Also the thesis introduces arrangement of collagen fibres, their waviness and how the waviness thwarts determination of direction of fibres. The second aim is a design and test of the mechanical apparatus, which is able to stretch a squared aortic sample in two perpendicular directions (independently on each other) up to the relative deformation of 30 %. Design of the apparatus allows the sample to be dipped into the formaldehyde solution, which fixes the deformation. Consequent histologic sections of the sample will be used for the determination of global directions of collagen fibres in the aorta. The apparatus is designed to simulate conditions in a human or animal body where aorta is axially pre-stretched and at the same time expanded in the radial direction by blood pressure.
Microstructure of the surface non-contact method
Konečný, Jan ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Pernikář, Jiří (advisor)
Surface structure is defined by the parameters of the basic profile, profile, roughness and waviness profile. In practice, uses many different types of profilometer. Above requirements is an essential compatibility of the individual results. Aim of this work is the comparison of contact and non-contact scanning profile.
Reducing vibration and noise of bearings
Nejeschleba, Martin ; Prostredník, Daniel (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of bearings noisiness. The bearings noisiness appears as a negative phenomenon in all the mechanical devices that generate any kind of movement. Analysis of this phenomenon enables to analyse the technical condition of the bearing and predict its defects as well. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the vibration diagnostics and noisiness diagnostics, which are deeply linked. The practical part of the thesis deals with the real problem of the bearing’s noisiness in the engineering company. The main asset of this thesis is a design and successful implementation of the measures, which reduce noisiness of the selected type of the bearing.
ANALYSES OF STRUCTURE OF COLLAGEN FIBRES IN ARTERIAL WALL USING MODERN METHODS OF LIGHT MICROSCOPY
Turčanová, Michaela ; Kochová, Petra (referee) ; Hampl, Aleš (referee) ; Burša, Jiří (advisor)
The doctoral thesis deals with the analysis of the arrangement of collagen fibres in arteries and their correct evaluation and use in structurally motivated constitutive models of the material. The first part of the work is focused on the literature search of mechanical properties of arteries and on an overview of available methods for the detection of waviness, orientation and dispersion of fibres. Most works identify fibre angles as additional parameter from mechanical tests and thus degrade the structural nature of the model. The second part describes an automatic algorithm that can evaluate the local directions of fibres and their scattering from images from a polarizing microscope and structurebased hyperelastic constitutive models. Furthermore, there is an emphasis on choosing the most appropriate imaging method based on fluorescence microscopy, which will help us to distinguish the waviness and scattering of fibres. In the next part of the thesis, two experiments on porcine arteries are presented in order to determine the influence of different magnitudes of biaxial deformation on fiber orientation and dispersion. The last part of the work presents the evaluated structural parameters for porcine and human aortas, which were analyzed not only under polarized light, but also under a laser scanning confocal microscope, thanks to which the waviness of the fibers and their global direction were obtained.
